Historical Picture of the Day- "The father of Television."

        Pictured above for today's historical picture of the day is Philo Farnsworth, known colloquially as "the father of television." He and his team of lab scientists transmitted the first picture broadcast on September 7, 1927 in San Francisco, California. Although, it wasn't until 2 years later that the first live human broadcast through television was achieved using Farnsworth's method. Stop, for a moment, and think how far technology has come in less than 100 years; and, then think of how far it will advance 100 years from now!
