Today in history, October 17, 1933, marks the date when Albert Einstein arrived in the U.S. from Nazi Germany. An interesting fact about Einstein, that is closely related to my family history, was he was born in Ulm, Germany, the same town my father was born in after WW2. Einstein escaped as a refugee due most likely because of his Jewish ancestry.
